I want to say thanks to you both and your friends who were gracious enough to give me a tour of your farm yesterday! I've been reading about alpacas for a while and it was wonderful seeing them up close and personal. Your herd is so gorgeous and gentle. Everyone I talked to thought I was crazy to want to see these animals -because they spit - glad to say the rumors were unfounded! I'm hoping to find a few alpaca "buddies" in the next few years.
